Support

Any problems?  First go download  and run the NEWEST version of the software at the SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD SECTION.

Welcome to the Support and contact section.  Use this page to find solutions if your software is not working properly for you.  First go through EVERY STEP of the Troubleshooting section before you use the Contact Form below, to contact me.  We constantly try and improve this software and add new features where possible. All your feedback would be much appreciated.

Troubleshooting:

(If a captcha verification pops up on Pinterest while the software is running, fill it in manually. There is also a new AUTO Decaptcha option under TOOLS, if you belong to a Decaptcha service.)

If your software doesn’t work properly or gives any errors, please check EACH of the following first:

1.  Do you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed? (search on Google and download for free)

2.  Make sure your firewalls are turned off or your Virus Detectors are turned off or that it allows Auto Pinterest Marketer.

3. Do you have the newest version of Auto Facebook Marketer? (Check in the software tab for newest version)

4. Do you have a MAC?  This software only works on Windows based systems.

5. NOTE:  Please make sure you press STOP, each time before you move on to a next tab on the software.

6. If the software appears to be stalling, see if the “RUN” button is green.  If it is not green, it is still busy running. Wait for it to stop, or STOP it manually, before you go to a next tab.

7.  If the software doesn’t verify you correctly, make sure that your username and password is the same as the ones you entered when registering on the members area. You need to enter your verification details every time you run the sofware for the first time.  Test it there first to see that it logs you into this Membership Area.  If it is still not working, close the sofware and run it again. Reboot if needed.

8. If some feature like “Logging in” is not working.  Try manually clicking on the the button in the browser window to manually do the function.

9.  If you tried all the above and it’s still not working, close the program.  Reboot your computer and run the Software again.

10. WATCH THIS VIDEO to learn some more tips on how you can troubleshoot your software.

What do I do if your software gives the following error:

A)  Registration or Software verification doesn’t work

To verify your Software license, each time you run it, make sure you enter the exact USERNAME and PASSWORD (no spaces at end)  that you used to Register to the members area after you first purchased the product.(Make sure there are no spaces behind it or infront of it.)

Try logging into the members area (http://autopinterestmarketer.com/member ) with this info to test it. Make sure that there are no spaces at the end.

If you are not sure about what the password is you entered, use this link to request reset for lost password:

http://autopinterestmarketer.com/member/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If that doesn’t work, delete the .txt file in the software folder and try again.

For your PINTEREST LOGIN DETAILS, you need your email address and password you used to sign up at Pinterest.com.  If you don’t have a pinterest account, yet you need to go to the site and ask for an invitation. (You can also email me for one.)

B)  I get the message “Your link has been reported as spam…”

You have probably used an affiliate link or a link that is used a lot by Pinterest marketers.  Direct linking to your affiliate links should never be used.  Free URL shorteners like tiny url, bit.ly etc, are used by many many marketers to the chance of this being classified as spam is also very good, unfortunately. Even if your link gets classified as “Looking spammy”, it’s not the end of the world, as the user would still have an option to click through and view your link so many will do this, even if it says it looks spammy.

I recommend you don’t use a Free URL shorterner, but rather use a proper Link Cloaking and Tracking service, like LinkTrackr (http://www.linktrackr.com/account/aff.php?aff=2734).

If you don’t want to invest in a good link cloaker, you can also create domain redirects, which is probably the best idea. There is domain redirect wordpress plugin for this, if you don’t  know how to do it. You can also google how to do this.

C)  Error pops up:  “Bot has encountered a problem and has to close”

This is a windows error normally caused from .NET being corrupted, ran out of memory, or your  .NET framework is corrupted.  Try reinstalling .NET framework 4 again. Running out of memory can be caused by a sluggish or slow computer.  Close all other programs, reboot or try less searches/ pins, if your computer or internet connection is slower.

There is also a good chance that there is bad spin syntax used. If it is missing a } or { somewhere and is not setup correctly, it can cause it to crash as well. Make sure the syntax is correct and also check that the description is not too long. Rather make it shorter.

D) Error pops up: “Unable to connect to remote server.”

This means poor internet connection and it failed to connect.  Check that your internet connection is running correctly.

Also make sure that there are no firewalls from windows or your antivirus programs blocking the software.  This is the most probably cause of this error. This doesn’t have anything to do with the software.

E) COMMENTER doesn’t post comments properly. (This could also be for PINNING or RE-PINNING)

You could have been mistaken as a potential spam attack and Pinterest is blocking your account from commenting  Make sure you are not doing any of the following actions:

1. Commenting on many pins very quickly
2. Posting the same comment many times (especially a comment including a link)
3. Following lots of users very quickly
4. Pinning, repinning, and/or liking pins very quickly – particularly repeatedly pinning things which all link to the same source
5. Using a link-shortener or a link-redirect, for example: bit.ly or other link-shorteners – try using the full link in a comment or pin description instead!

I’m getting this error now in my pinterest account.

    Sorry!
Users have reported that this links to spam or other inappropriate content.

    Back to Pinterest

Mix up your link used. Also, I suggest you don’t make all your images affiliate promotions. Mix it up with just normal pictures and normal descriptions as well every once in a while. Set the delays higher and you won’t be banned that easily. Make sure you use secondary Pinterest accounts as I have sugggested.

Please use this support section for contacting me about the software in the future, thanks.

    Len,
I get the same warning on my pins that go to my Facebook page. I was told by Pinterest customer service that my bit.ly links were causing the warning. My site is not Spam or inappropriate content. I later exchanged those links for my long Facebook App link and with this link I get no warning message. Hope this helps you.

    Hi ,

What I have noticed is that all bit.ly links are considered spam by google. When clicked on a link it takes you to a spam-page that warns you that this website could be a malicious website.

So I suggest to Never use bit.ly for any promotions.
This might be the readons for people to complain about the links.

    Hope this helps
